Rat Removal

There are two types of invasive rats in the Chattanooga area:
the Norway Rat and the Roof Rat.

Both types have been introduced and compete with native wildlife. Rats wreak havoc on homes, businesses, and farms in very little time - damaging houses, contaminating food, spreading disease, and causing a wide range of other issues.

Signs You Have Rats

Rats are nocturnal and will avoid humans, but can be detected by scurrying sounds in the walls, attic, or crawlspace. When estimating numbers for rats -  listen, look for signs, and smell. Check crawlspace and attic for urine smell and or their fecal matter. Also look for signs of gnawing -  half-dollar to tangerine size holes in insulation. Finally, notice greasy smudge marks around points they are using for entry.
