Squirrels Removal
Are you hearing a continual scurrying in your soffit or gutter?
You may be dealing with squirrels.
Tennessee is home to the Fox, Grey, Red, and Flying Squirrels. Squirrels can cause a lot of damage and, like any rodent, are known for their gnawing. Fox and Gray squirrels require a baseball-sized hole to gain entrance, while flying and red squirrels require a little bit smaller.
Signs You Have A Squirrel
Squirrels have their young several times a year and love building their nests in attics. Look for their baseball size holes with grass and packed leaves in your soffit, facia, between your gutter and shingles, ect. Squirrels will also chew wires, tear out insulation, gnaw on your house, and more.
Prevention and Removal
Habitat modification is a good way to keep squirrels out. Trim trees and other shrubs back so they cannot gain access to your roof. Bird feeders can be modified to keep squirrels from foraging on and around the feeder.
